About Us
Whitehead Catering has been in existence for over 30 years and was founded by Eileen and Ray Whitehead. Eileen had always been an avid cook and foodie and after so many of her friends had asked here to provide food for their weddings and party it seemed a logical step to turn her talent into a business.
Eileen passed all of her secrets and knowhow to her daughter, Jo, who took over the reigns completely when Eileen retired in 2001. Now together with her husband, Chris, they still provide great food at sensible prices.
One of the greatest compliments we can get is when someone compares our food to that which their grandmother prepared, with almost a tear of nostalgia. This is because some of the best recipes are those handed down from generation to generation. Using quality, fresh ingredients and preparing dishes from scratch helps bring the whole dish together
Tastes move on, and so has Whitehead Catering. We understand that there would be a riot if we removed some firm favourites from our menus but also understand that new ingredients and tastes offer so many wonderful opportunities. To this end we have many more contemporary dishes and dishes from around the world for your consideration.
